Benefits of Avocado on African Natural Hair

Hi Friends, my natural hair journey has been quite interesting as my creativity in hair styling continues to unfold.
This week I donned a simple hair style that made many ladies begin to ask more questions about going natural.

A friend of mine said “Nanji I can see that this is for real, it is not a joke, another colleague said WOW Nanji you have completely turned around from human extensions and all sorts to this natural look, but I love it”.
And you know what……….. I really feel good, thanks guys.

Let us take a journey with Avocado this weekend. Avocado is readily available in local markets and very cost effective + totally organic
Benefits to the Hair:
The monounsaturated fatty acid content in avocado oil is one of the main reasons Avocado oil is so good for your hair. If you have dry, damaged and weak hair due to heat styling, chemical treatments and environmental pollution Monounsaturated fats, when applied directly in a hair mask, can greatly nourish and strengthen hair strands thus enhancing a healthier more lustrous look while protecting your hair from damage.
Massaging avocado oil into your scalp also stimulates blood flow to your hair follicles, the effect of this is improved blood flow and circulation to the scalp thus enabling more nutrients to reach those follicles to stimulate new growth and produce healthier hair.
It has high levels of antioxidants like vitamin E which absorbs well into our scalp and hair shafts. Avocado is generally highly moisturizing and its raw use can stimulate new growth and help unclog blocked follicles.
The combination of antioxidant vitamin E, moisturizing plants sterols and the rich levels of monounsaturated fatty acids in avocado oil, provides three nutrients that have been individually recommended for stimulating hair growth, in one simple, highly absorbable topical treatment.
Have a lovely weekend with Avocado and please let me know how it went(:
